Lunch "Time" Presentation
Wednesday, April 12, 2017
noon to 1:00 pm
National Watch & Clock Museum (514 Poplar St, Columbia)
Pack a lunch and join us for the first of our Lunch "Time" presentations! Museum Director Noel Poirier will provide attendees an up-close examination and discussion on the recently acquired Beaman Clock.
This clock, built in the 1870s from assorted parts found around Beaman's farm and home, was installed in his barn and became well known in the Gilbertville/Ware, Massachusetts area.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a bag lunch for this casual conversation on the history of a uniquely American timepiece.
