Executive Director - Kathleen Hohenadel
Kathy assumed the role of Executive Director of SVCC in January, 2010, following a career in education. Kathy is the representative of the Chamber in the public eye; hers is the face you will become familiar with at ribbon cuttings, grand openings, business mixers and breakfast meetings. She interacts with the community and general public as well as with local business folks, political and government entities and media representatives, all while expanding opportunities for Chamber members. Her role makes her the point person for member programming, SVCC publications, and SVCC business operations. Kathy also coordinates the fund raising initiatives which help keep our Visitors Center open to guests to the region as a gratis service.
Technology Support Clerk - Heather Weaver
Heather first joined SVCC in January, 2013, when she assumed a part-time support role mainly assigned to assist with SVCC events. Following a 1 year break in 2014 to allow more time for her young family, Heather came back aboard the SVCC staff in January, 2015, as the Tecnology Support Clerk. This position is largely tasked with keeping SVCC's online presence up-to-date. Duties include posting to multiple SVCC Facebook pages, editting and updating the SVCC website, and promoting SVCC events on various online sites. When the SVCC Board of Directors decided to a minor staff restructure at the end of May, 2016, Heather also assumed Fourth Friday duties.
Business Liaison - Daisy Pagan
In her role as Business Liaison, Daisy Pagan visits current SVCC members to help create a stronger connection to the chamber. She also visits potential members with an eye on recruiting additional members for the organization. Daisy has been an active member of SVCC for a number of years. Many of you may already know Daisy as the proprietor of Perfect Settings in Columbia along with her husband Tony. Daisy joined the SVCC staff in January, 2014.
Visitor Center Scheduler - Jeanette Gerfin
Jetty Gerfin, a Visitor Center volunteer, stepped into the role of Visitor Center Scheduler in January, 2014. Jetty keeps in touch with our other center volunteers to be sure that the Visitor Center has volunteer staffing each day it is open. She also helps recruit additional volunteers for the center and assists in training new additions to our volunteer roster.
The Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce gratefully acknowledges the contributions of time and effort given by its volunteers.
